Dr Makgalake Pabalelo Radingoana , Senior Lecturer, Department of Geography, University of South Africa


Dr Makgalake Pabalelo Radingoana is a senior lecturer in the Department of Geography at the University of South Africa. She holds a PhD in Environmental and Water Sciences from the University of the Western Cape and a Master of Science in Geography and Environmental Sciences from the University of Limpopo.

She has been recognised by Mail and Guardian as part of the Top 200 Young South Africans under 35 making an impact in Education (2023). She also received recognition from UNISA’s Research and Innovation Awards as the youngest female staff member to receive a Doctorate degree in the year 2021.

Dr Radingoana’ s research interest lies mainly on grey/wastewater reuse and waste management, and she is currently supervising 3 PhD students and 2 MSc students. She had acted as a peer reviewer for various journals, served as a moderator and assessor/examiner for various universities and has her work published in accredited journals. Further, Dr Radingoana is also serving as a review panellist for the National Research Foundation. She is professionally affiliated with SACNASP, Society of South African Geographers and Water Institute of Southern Africa.
