Dr Dharmarai Naicker has business management experience at an executive level (20 years in senior management), supported by the combination of scientific and technical qualifications. With a Master’s in Business Leadership (MBL) and a PhD in Mycotoxicology from UKZN, she has managed in both the Veterinary, Bioprospecting and Agroprocessing sectors.
She serves on the Boards of the National Laboratory Association of South Africa, the South African National Accreditation system (SANAS) and is a Council member of the Central University of Technology- Science Portfolio. She is also a member of the Institute of Directors of Southern Africa (IODSA) and is a Certified Director. She is also passionate about her philanthropic work as a Director of Angels Helping Hands, an NPO, led by women to service the needs of the poor and vulnerable in our communities.
Currently, she is the Business Manager, Health and Nutrition – SGS Southern Africa, the largest Testing, Inspection and Certification business in the world, focusing on testing services across the food value chain from farm gate to fork.
