Shandini is an ambitious, dynamic, enthusiastic, innovative, hard-working, and highly motivated professional. A holder of a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, an LLB Law degree and LLM Masters in International Economic Law.

As the Director of AVOPORT PTY LT, founded by Shandini in 2017. She identified the need for a more transparent, inclusive, & efficient supply chain management of South Africa's agricultural trade.

As Director, Shandini has established & maintained national, regional, & global relations with various role players. She has innovated, developed & launched various projects across South Africa & the SADC region to boost national, regional, & international trade of agricultural produce.

Presently Shandini, sits on the Board for the National Agricultural Marketing Council (NAMC) of South Africa. Appointed by the South Africa’s Minister of Agriculture, Thoko Didiza in 2021. Shandini has made history as being recognized as the youngest ever appointed Board Member since the inception of the organization. Aside from her duties as a NAMC Board Member. Shandini is the current Chair of the Crop Estimates Liaison Committee (CELC) and the Supply and Demand Estimates Liaison Committee for the organization.
